Obama’s Anti-Gitmo Delegate

Hat tip: Masterwolf

Do any of you remember James “Yousef” Yee? He was that former Army Muslim chaplain charged with espionage while serving at Gitmo. It turns out that Yee will represent Obama for Washington state at the Democratic National Convention.

The two are a perfect match. Obama promises to not only close Gitmo, but “reform” the USA Patriot Act. He apparently plans to take those steps in between tea parties with state sponsors of terror.

Since the Pentagon in 2004 dropped charges against him, Yee has become a poster boy of the anti-war movement. He’s cashed in on his ignominy with a book claiming he was the target of “sheer bigotry” and was silenced for exposing “systemic” abuse of prisoners at Gitmo.

One of his biggest boosters in Washington is Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., the Muslim convert who insisted on taking the oath of office on the Quran. Ellison is an Obama superdelegate who’s been doing advance work for Obama’s planned tea parties in the Middle East.

Last month, he told an Egyptian weekly that Yee’s “case was dropped because there was no case to begin with.”

Nice try. Here are the facts:

1. Yee was caught returning to the U.S. with maps of Gitmo prison facilities, among other classified materials, and was arrested at a U.S. airport.

2. He was charged with espionage, mishandling classified documents and lying to investigators.

3. He served hard time in a South Carolina stockade.

4. Two of his Muslim cronies at Gitmo were convicted of stealing or mishandling classified documents.

5. Far from being exonerated, the military dropped charges against him to protect national security.

Guantanamo commander Maj. Gen. Geoffrey Miller, who originally accused Yee of spying, explained that there were “national security concerns that would arise from the release of the evidence” if the case moved to trial.

There’s no question that Yee, a captain who converted to Islam, was sympathetic to al-Qaida and Taliban captives at Gitmo.

At times, in fact, he acted more like a defense attorney for the terrorists. He complained that guards subjected them to cruel “abuse” and “psychological torture.”

Waterboarding? Electric shock? No, they committed the sadistic act of mishandling copies of the Quran that Yee had made sure each inmate received.

Terrorist supporters of a feather flock together.

  1. Just looked him up on Wikipedia.
“Yee, a Chinese American, was born in New Jersey and raised in Springfield Township,[1] where he attended Jonathan Dayton High School.[2] Yee graduated from West Point in 1990. Shortly afterward, he converted from Christianity to Islam in 1991, undergoing religious training in Syria and meeting his wife Huda, a Palestinian Arab, with whom he now has two children.”

If I remember correctly, the Palestinians danced in the streets on 9/11.

  2. The fact he loves someone who hates America is beyond me.

  3. Another great orator was Hitler (He too mesmerized the crowd) and He promised change….and change there was!!!

  4. Yes, that was an example of a very bad change.

  5. What I don’t understand is how come no one in the GOP PR has not grabbed onto the “Change” premise that Obama is running on – if it took this character to change his pastor after 20-years, how quick will this narcissist come to “change” our great country? If it is in a negative aspect “Change” will happen in the first 100 days.

As a United States Jewish citizen, who has served my country valiantly I am still amazed at how many educated people in our country, and educated Jewish people in this country actually support this hypocrite.

I fear a rash of anti-Semitism and hate in general will accompany Obama if elected. He has continually demonstrated his inability to make rationale, and unabashed decisions to even benefit his political career – and people actually trust him to make decisions in the interest of national and economic security, with his only record being of bad choices – and based on this article he still makes bad choices while his supporters hold signs “Obama is my Homeboy”.

Unreal – keep up the good fight!

Obama fallacy will open gates of hell in the Middle East

Hamas is waiting, and hoping, for an Obama victory in November. During the Doha Debates (BBC, May 27, 2008), leading Hamas spokesman Mahmoud Al Zahar categorically implied that the only way out of the current impasse in the Gaza strip would be a “neutral and balanced” administration in Washington.

Senator Obama can claim that he rejects any endorsement by Hamas; that, however, is not the point. The first relevant question Americans have to ask themselves is this: why are the Middle East’s worst religious extremists waiting for President Obama?

Hamas waiting is not alone in waiting for John McCain to decisively falter. Hezbollah controlled television and radio outlets in Lebanon have been making very sympathetic reference to Senator Obama’s anti-war speeches for many months now. The Ayatollahs in Teheran have not made any serious comment on the Obama agenda for Iraq, but nobody can doubt that any withdrawal of US-led troops at this juncture would only serve as a major longer-term strategic boost for Iran. On that note, it should not be forgotten that Iran has had close historical ties with the leadership of the mainstream Kurdish parties, currently allied with the United States.

The second question Americans must ask themselves relates to the serious security consequences for the West in the event that Islamic fascists begin exercising unrestricted power throughout the Middle East. The related consequences for the oil producing Gulf nations and for Saudi Arabia will be even more immediate, and certainly more dramatic.

Senator Obama rests his thesis of troop withdrawals on the assumption that the fact upon which the Iraq war was predicated have proven to be dubious, at best. That may well be so. That discussion should be left to historians and political analysts who want to write history, or re-write history as the case might be. The point is that more that nearly 200,000-plus foreign troops and military contractors are currently present in Iraq, and that their removal, albeit over 18 months, would be tantamount to an unequivocal victory, politically and militarily, for religious extremists.

Senator Obama wants to direct his focus to the high mountains of the Hindu Kush, to hunt down Osama Bin Laden and his Al Qaeda cohorts. That position is fundamentally flawed on two counts. Firstly, Senator Obama has no idea where exactly Bin Laden is today, and if he is alive at all. Secondly, as American troops are now finding out, many or most of the so-called militants in the Afghanistan theatre are part of robust opium producing and drug smuggling syndicates. Of course, there is no reason for the perpetrators of 9/11 to stay hiding in the mountains if the geographical area stretching from Iran to Lebanon qualifies as an infinitely better safe-haven.

Iraq’s reality is a dual reality: the military reality on one hand and the economic (reconstruction) reality on the other. Both aspects of Iraq deserve high priority. Rather than engaging in discussions on the qualitative nature of the pre-war intelligence, a Washington administration needs to address both challenges.

Given the military situation on the ground, there will be no reconstruction without the presence of 120,000-plus American troops Iraq, at least for the foreseeable future. And, if there is no reconstruction, the dismal state of the Iraqi economy will provide extremely fertile terrorist recruitment windows; the average Iraqi living in the villages and the shanty towns is struggling to maintain a minimum level of human dignity.

An unusually large section of the American media is doing the American voter a major disservice. Rather than recognizing, with striking regularity, the wisdom of Senator Obama’s pre-war stance, journalists and anchors must demand specifics which are verifiable in today’s context. Most importantly, what are the facts upon which Senator Obama has concluded that a withdrawal from Iraq will not lead to the absolute domination of Iran for many decades into the future? Nobody should endorse the Democratic ticket without getting an acceptable and verifiable answer.

  7. Great posts, Zion Lion and Rakesh Saxena. Welcome to my blog.

  8. Please click the below link for a disgustingly anti-Jewish “socialists for
Obama” page on Obama’s Web site

  9. The site said the link was invalid. 😦

  10. You can find a screen capture of the material here:

  11. More bad signs.

  12. sheine maidele

I’m a 41 year old Jewish woman, and also an Obama state delegate. My entire family is voting for Obama too. I’ll bet that none of you are actually Jewish — all 10 people of your membership here. You people are a joke.

  13. sheine maidele,

I hate to break it to you, but yes, I am actually Jewish, and so are many others here. I’m 46, married with children. I am the first in my family to register Republican thanks to the inspiration and leadership of Jimmy Carter. I hold two engineering degrees (chemical and environmental) and consider myself well-informed.

The fact is that the Obama campaign is showing how the Democratic party is becoming a sick joke. Clinton and Gore got close to 90% of the Jewish vote. John Kerry got about 75% of the Jewish vote. Obama is polling around 61%. At this rate, the Jewish vote will go majority Republican in another four years (not that I really flatter myself that this will happen, but you never know). After four years (G-d forbid) of Obama, you may be joining us. We will welcome you with open arms.

Now let me ask you this in all due respect: Given Obama’s associations with Hamas sympathizers, Jew-haters, and terrorists, why in heck are you supporting him? Is it the socialist economics? Some personal financial gain? Opposition to the liberation of Iraq?

  14. Sheine maidele, I am not Jewish. However, I support the State of Israel, and am opposed to Anti-Semitism. (As well as all other forms of racism.) Furthermore I admire Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus Christ, and other Jews who have helped greatly improve the world.

  15. Ron-the Marxists/Socialists for Obama page on the Obama site has been deleted. I saw it yesterday and I got the picture, but it’s not there anymore.

  16. […]The Moslem cleric who inspired Adolf Hitler with the idea of Jihad was none other than the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin El-Husseini, who did not want masses of exiled Jews to wind up in the land of Israel, which he claimed as a future Arab Palestine, devoid of Jews. Arafat used to call him “Uncle.”[…]

  17. James Boyer

Its wonderful that we are uniting against the plague that is Obama. Obama is nothing but a Jew hating nigger. I would really love it if someone would lynch him.

  18. Wow James, tell us how you REALLY feel.

But seriously. This is a cool blog. Glad I found it.

  19. James, I disagree. While Obama is a Jew-hater, I don’t think we should kill him. First, that would be murder, but second, killing Caesar didn’t prevent men like him from taking power. Indeed, they stayed in power a long time. There were many Caesars in the Roman Empire.
I would really love it if he lost the election, though. Barack is more than just someone who is too liberal. Lack of patriotism is one problem, the other was the Marxist, Racist, Anti-Semitic ideology he was raised on. Plus, his pastor has connections to Islam. Here is info on Islam:
Sura [4.74]: “Therefore let those fight in the way of Allah, who sell this world’s life for the hereafter; and whoever fights in the way of Allah, then be he slain or be he victorious, We shall grant him a mighty reward.”
Sura [9.29]: “Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection. [9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!”
Sura [2.190] “And fight in the way of Allah with those who fight with you, and do not exceed the limits, surely Allah does not love those who exceed the limits. [2.191] And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers. [2.192] But if they desist, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. [2.193] And fight with them…”

  20. I haven’t seen you covering anything about the blatant anti-semitic rants that have appeared on Obama’s campaign page.

Here’s one that was documented on No Quarter.

And what are you doing about lobbying the ADL and B’nai B’rith? You should be agitating them to take action and speak out, not bitching amongst yourselves.

    Am Yisrael Chai!

  21. I’m glad this blog is here. I will post your link. I am thoroughly convinced that Barack Obama has no intention of withdrawing troops at all. I think he intends to re-arrange who the enemy is. I have some grave reservations about this man and his affiliates.

Charmisa can be a good thing. But if we have learned anything from history, it’s that there have been plenty of charismatic people who have led their followers straight into hell.

    Good luck to you.

  22. Welcome, Uppity Woman, and good luck to you too!

  23. Jermiah Wright and Jim Jones led their followers to hell.
